Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia received 252 reports on electoral offences, incidents during the elections of RA President dated 18.03.2013, including the campaign and the voting day were received until March 14 2013, the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia reported.
13 reports of total were given clarifications, a decision on initiating a criminal case was made on 13 of them, a decision on dismissing the initiation of criminal case was made on 223 of them, 3 reports are being considered. The decisions were not appealed against.
To recall, a working group was set up on Jan 14 to upgrade the efficiency of control of the Prosecutor's Office over inquiries into election violations.
According to the official results, the winner is incumbent President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan with 58.64% of the votes or 861,373 votes, the runner-up the leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian - 36.75% or 539,693.
