EU Special Representative for the conflicts in the South Caucasus Philippe Lefort will arrive in Baku on Tuesday, the EU Delegation told Turan.
On February 6 Lefort will meet with President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
Earlier, the head of the EU mission to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia said that among other issues they will discuss the functioning capacity of the Stepanakert Airport.
"We would like to act in the framework of international law and against provoking tensions in the region and solving problems through dialogue," said Kobia.
It is noteworthy that Lefort is not expected to visit Armenia, the Armenian Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo.
