The Russian Government has approved the agreement on Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.
The website of the Russian Government reports that the agreement specifies the terms of Armenia's accession to the Union.
The agreement to establish the Eurasian Economic Union was signed Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan in Astana on May 29 and is to take force on Jan 1 2015. It was then that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said that Armenia was going to join the Union before July 15.
