Swiss Ambassador to Armenia Lukas Gasser: Switzerland will try to contribute to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict without questioning the established formats such as the OSCE Minsk process

Democratic Party of Armenia (DPA) will support the people in case of a social rebellion, DPA Leader Aram Sargsyan told ArmInfo.
"We have always criticized the Government for its wrong course and the allegedly existing economic system in Armenia that meets neither the potential nor the possibilities we have. Naturally, we think it abnormal and a reason for both political and civil activity. How they will be getting out of such situation, that is the question," he said.
Sargsyan said that the Government of Armenia inadequately responds to the processes in the domestic market. "If you register a growth of the agricultural produce, the prices must be lower than in the previous year. Meanwhile, they are much higher. This applies to all fields," Sargsyan said.
He recalled that President Serzh Sargsyan promised a solid rise in pensions and salaries at the budgetary organizations starting Jan 1 2014. "Let's wait and see," he said. Sargsyan thinks the prices of some productions and the gas tariff will slightly decrease with accession to the Customs Union, which will not settle the social problems, however.
