Political expert: Reports that the Azeri Parliament might adopt a law "On Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan" were just an attempt to see the reaction of the Azeri society, Armenia and the world community
Marat Terterov: Armenia’s long term security will be better served by strengthening economic security, rather than defining national security on the basis of the Tsarist Russian catch-cry “armiya i flot”
Should there be war, Armenia will not be able to ask the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) for assistance because the collective security force has not yet been formed, hero of the Nagorno-Karabakh war, Maj. Gen. Arkady Ter-Petrosyan (Kommandos) told journalists on Friday.
"I am not going to question the sincerity of CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Boryuzha when he says that the CSTO will help Armenia in case of war, but as a realistic person, I cannot imagine Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan warring for Armenia against Azerbaijan. I think this is simply impossible," Kommandos said.
