However, that is a bitter truth that we do not have money, chairman of the parliamentary commission for social issues, RPA member, Hakop Hakopyan, said when replying to Haykakan Zhamanak daily's question, why did the authorities deceive the people saying earlier about the salary growth in all the sectors starting 1 January 2014.
To note, according to the draft budget 2014, 40% salary growth is expected starting 1 July 2014.
He also added that, for instance, President Serzh Sargsyan's salary will grow from the present 400 000 drams up to 900 000 drams, and the salary of ministers and members of the parliament will grow twofold and reach 600 000 drams.
To note, According to Armenia's National Statistic Service, average salary in Armenia is 149,7 thsd drams.
