Armenia makes a point of development of relations with China, Secretary of Armenia's National Security Council, Artur Bagdasaryan, said over the meeting with the delegation from the Communist Party of China (CPC) headed by Zhou Li, Vice-Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
As press-service of the Council reported, Bagdasaryan said that high level of political relations have been formed between our countries, and Armenia is interested in further deepening bilateral relations with China. He also underscored the need to develop security matters between Armenia and China, and said that there is great potential for this objective.
For his part, Zhou Li conveyed to the Armenian NSC chief the warm greetings by his Chinese counterpart. "Armenia is one of China's most trusted partners, and we highlight the development and expansion of bilateral ties," he said.
They discussed cooperation between the two countries, and the prospects for their development. They also touched on regional matters.
