ArmSwissBank and Management Mix have signed a memorandum of intention to set up an investment management company.
The press service of ArmSwissBank reports that the key mission of the company will be to attract investors in the future or existing capitals of trading companies in Armenia and abroad and to provide services for managing and alienating the investments.
The company is supposed to help commercial firms to enlarge their activities, particularly, to carry out business projects in different sectors of the economy.
"This company will form a new culture of private asset management, this including corporate management, business development, competitive growth and market grouping," says the source.
The signing ceremony took place at the Central Bank of Armenia on Wednesday and was attended by President of the CB Artur Javadyan, founder of Franck Muller Watchland and
Chairman of the Board of ArmSwissBank Vardan Sirmakes, Ambassador of Switzerland to Armenia Lukas Gasser and Ambassador of Lebanon to Armenia Jean Makaron.
Those present were unanimous that the singing of the memorandum would help to develop the Armenian economy and to attract foreign and private investments.
ArmSwissBank was set up on Oct 7 2004 by the founder of Franck Muller Watchland Vardan Sirmakes. The bank's shareholders are Sirmakes (80%) and Belegingsmachepij Jongo LLC (20%). ArmSwissBank specializes in corporate banking, investment banking and private banking.
