ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK intends to expand its presence in Yerevan and other large cities of Armenia, Hakob Andreasyan, Chief Executive Officer of ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, said during the opening of the new "Sayat-Nova" branch on May 5.
Andreasyan added that the Bank will shortly open one more branch in Yerevan, which will be located in Teryan Street.
"At the moment, the Bank has branches in all the provinces of Armenia and in almost all towns of the country. However, we are going to get closer to the population, i.e. to expand our presence in the densely-populated settlements of Armenia and to increase the number of branches in the large cities," he said.
On May 5, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK opened the new "Sayat Nova" branch in Yerevan. The new branch inclusive, the number of the Bank's branches in Yerevan is 14. The Bank is ranked the second in terms of branch network in Armenia. As of May 5, the total number of ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK's branches is 55, including 14 in Yerevan and 41 in all provinces of Armenia. The "Ani" (Gyumri) and "Metsamor" (Metsamor) branches were opened on 24-26 Feb 2015. With the new branches to be opened in the provinces, the Bank will take the lead in the banking market of the country in terms of the branch network.
"ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK" CJSC has been operating in Armenia since 1995. Since September 2006, the majority shareholders of the Bank have been Credit Agricole S.A. (15.56%) and SJSC "Sacam International" (part of Credit Agricole S.A - 12.44%). Along with them, 10 agricultural cooperative unions hold shares in the capital of ACBA- CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.
