In Jan-Sept 2013 Pure Iron Plant increased its ferromolybdenum production by 19.7% to 2,640 tons against 2,213 tons in Jan-Sept 2012. The pure molybdenum production grew from 502 tons to 556 tons.
The press service of the plant reports that in monetary terms the indices grew from 16.9bln AMD to 17.5bln AMD and from 5.5bln AMD to 5.8bln AMD, respectively.
During the period the plant exported 2,680 tons of ferromolybdenum worth 17.2bln AMD against 2,237 tons worth 17.1bln AMD in Jan-Sept 2012 and 556 tons of molybdenum worth 5.4bln AMD against 497 tons worth 5.7bln AMD a year before.
In 2013 Pure Iron Plant is planning to increase its ferromolybdenum output by 6.8% to 3,200 tons, with the molybdenum production to be increased by 11.1% to 750 tons. Some 51% of the plant is owned by German Cronimet Mining, with all of its products exported to Germany.
