ICRC car fired at on Armenian-Azeri border

A car of the ICRC Yerevan Office has been fired at on the Armenian-Azeri border.

The Office's spokesperson Zara Amatuni says nobody was injured.

The ICRC representatives were going to the village of Chinari on the request of the local population who asked them to monitor the cease- fire regime while they would be gathering their harvest.

The Azeri side has made no comments on the incident yet.

To remind, following fire on July 20 the heads of the borderline villages of Armenia's Tavush region asked the ICRC to interfere so they could continue their work in the fields.
