According to Mass Media rumors, Sedrak Kocharyan, the son of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, may leader the Prosperous Armenia Party ticket at the upcoming elections to the Elders' Council of Yerevan.
However, Kocharyan's Spokesperson Victor Soghomonyan told Zhamanak newspaper that he heard of that for the first time. The paper writes that the top leadership of Prosperous Armenia convened on February 24 in Aghveran and studied the given issue.
"Though, Leader of the party Gagik Tsarukyan was not in the country those days, the party leadership discussed the issue with his consent," Zhamanak writes referring to own sources. By ArmInfo's data, Prosperous Armenia is studying also the candidature of Gurgen Arsenyan, MP from PAP, Leader of the United Labor Party, businessman, for the post of Yerevan mayor.
