At a March 26 press conference Zhirair Sefilian, the leader of the "Founding Parliament" (FP), said that starting from April 24 the Parliament would be demonstrating 24/7.
He assured the FP would not be impeding the events arranged to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide. "Like other Armenians we will be commemorating the memory of the Genocide victims. In late afternoon we will commence 24/7 termless demonstrations", he said. The veteran refused to disclose the actions' strategy assuring it would have a negative impact on their further actions. "We will leave our homes and return only when this regime is overthrown", said Sefilian. He mentioned that the parliament would not be cooperating with the politics whose sully reputation left much to be desired. "We will be glad to see Nikol Pashinyan and Zaruhi Postanjayan among us", he said.
Sefilian said that after the demonstrations started, the authorities would have two options: accept concessions and make arrangements with demonstrators or take force actions that will get a proper answer. "In case they choose the second option, the people's wrath will be impossible to quench", he mentioned and called upon the regime to refrain from repressions.
Sefilian urged Armenian citizens not to pay banking credits and traffic violation fines as a means of the struggle against the regime. "If citizens want to achieve success, they must follow our calls to action". He said that neither he nor FP member would bear no responsibility for the consequences of refusing to pay fines and credits.
