Armenia has decided to join the Customs Union, reports tvc.ru.
This, according to the source, is said in the joint statement made by the Russian and Armenian presidents after their meeting in Moscow on Tuesday.
To remind, Armenia's plans to initial an Association Agreement with the EU and the DCFTA in Nov 2013 have caused serious contradictions with Russia.
On Tuesday Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited Moscow so as to discuss this problem with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Both pro-Western and pro-Russian experts believe that after this visit Armenia will make up its mind - to sign the Association Agreement or to join the Eurasian Union.
