Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has commented on his resignation in Facebook.
"Dear compatriots! I sent in my resignation to President Serzh Sargsyan in February. My decision was conscious and mature. But we agreed to put it off for some time as we had to carry out a number of important state-level events, particularly, the Economic Forum of the Republican Party of Armenia. I would like to thank the people I worked with and, first of all, the President of Armenia for his confidence. I wish the new Cabinet high efficiency for the benefit of our Homeland," Sargsyan says in Facebook.
Tigran Sargsyan resigned from the post of Prime Minister during the Thursday meeting of the Supreme Body of the Republican Party of Armenia. President Serzh Sargsyan has accepted the resignation.
