At a press conference in Yerevan, Alexander Bortnikov, Head of the Russian Federal Security Service, said that he has no information confirming the fact of drug trafficking from Afghanistan via the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. To note, Bortnikov has come to Armenia to participate in the session of the Council of Head of Special Services of the CIS Member States.
"I have no information confirming that Nagorno-Karabakh is a transit territory for drug trafficking. At the moment, I cannot say anything about that", he said.
For his part, Gorik Hakobyan, Head of the Armenian National Security Service, said that such allegations by Azerbaijan are absurd. Moreover, no countries or structures, except Azerbaijan, have made such allegations against the NKR, he said.
