Beeline Armenia jointly with "Gates of Motherland" NGO sums up the results of "To Soldier From Grandma" project for the servicemen of the borderline military bases. As the press-service of the company informed ArmInfo, within the program which was launched in January 2016 soldiers of Koghbi military base received cloths and sweets, made by elderly women from Voskevan, Koti and Barekamavan.
Participants of "Border Village Children at Tumo" project sponsored by Beeline, as well as some residents and a number of companies also joined Beeline in this initiative.
"Beeline continues to support social projects in borderline villages. I consider "To soldier from grandma" project successful as it included participants of our other project. Such events allow us to be close to border village residents and servicemen and make our contribution to development of those communities, changing life for better," stated Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
To note, Beeline company and "Gates of Motherland" social public organization have been cooperating since 2013 and have implemented such projects as "Two days in fairytale" and "Presents for Children of Ervandashat village". Within the framework of cooperation playground and sport grounds were built in Chinar ad Voskepar villages of Tavush region. In 2015 under "Border Village Children at Tumo" program children from 6 borderline villages were visiting TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Dilijan each week for 6 months.
