Swiss Ambassador to Armenia Lukas Gasser: Switzerland will try to contribute to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict without questioning the established formats such as the OSCE Minsk process

The incidents on the Line of Contact do not remain without consequences for the Azerbaijani armed forces, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told media when replying to ArmInfo's question.
He said that the analysis of the developments of the past few years demonstrates that Azerbaijan violates the ceasefire on the Line of Contact with Armenian and NKR armed forces on the threshold, during or amid the political processes, personnel reshuffles and other circumstances.
"I think the incidents in Tavush region last week coincided with the domestic political processes in Azerbaijan, particularly, with the presidential elections and changes in the military leadership", he said.
According to Ohanyan, Azeris benefit from destabilization of the situation in the forefront and the leadership of Azerbaijan does not support Armenia's efforts aimed at restoring the atmosphere of confidence and withdrawing the snipers from the Line of Contact. "However, our commanders soberly and dispassionately assess the situation and give an adequate response, he said. Ohanyan added that Armenia will continue taking tough retaliatory measures against Azerbaijan's attempts to destabilize the situation.
