Movement "Hrach Muradyan -Justice Demand" will organize a procession to express their discontented with the inquiry into the murder of Hrach Muradyan, former head of the Proshyan Village Administration, Coordinator of the Movement, MP from ARFD Party Aghvan Vardanyan, told reporters on Monday.
"Seven months have passed since the day of Hrach Muradyan's murder. We have met with Head of the Armenian Police Vladimir Gasparyan, several representatives of the law-enforcement, but no progress has been registered in the inquiry yet," the parliamentarian said. Vardanyan informed reporters that he will meet with newly appointed Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan to this end. "Tomorrow, a procession will start from Aram Khachatryan monument to the president's residence with demand for justice in the inquiry," he said.
"We are sure that the case would be disclosed if the law-enforcers wanted. There are just playing a game that will result in termination of the case," says the nephew of the murdered Hrach Muradyan.
To recall, Muradyan(1963) was found dead approximately at 9:00am on April 2 near the Proshyan Village Administration building. The Police reports that the operative group reported on the spot that Muradyan died of a gunshot wound in the area of temple. A criminal case was initiated on the basis of Article 104.2.2 (murder) and 253.1 (illegal possession of weapons). Investigation is underway.
