XI HIGH FEST International Performing Arts Festival will take place in Yerevan Oct 1-12 2013.
President of HIGH FEST Arthur Ghukasyan told ArmInfo on Tuesday that the program of the festival includes over 50 performances by companies from Japan, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Georgia, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Africa, Iran.
The festival will be opened with The Animals and Children Took to the Streets by 1927 Productions (the UK).
One of the highlights will be Miranda by Oskaras Korsunovas (Lithuania). "We have been waiting for them for 10 years. Korsunovas is one of the best theater directors in the world, with productions in Berlin, Stockholm, Munich and Milan. This is real high class," Ghukasyan said.
The other features will be Froken Julie by Vladislavs Nastavsevs and Uzbeks are a Dangerous nation by Talgat Batalov.
Armenia will be represented by MIHR and Diary of a Madman by the Small Theater.
Last year the festival was attended by 25 companies from 18 countries.
