Shots have been fired towards the car of Syunik governor Surik Khachatryan.
The police has confirmed to ArmInfo that shots were fired in Goris administrative district at about 18:15 local time. Surik Khachatryan has told the media that shots were fired towards his car - he has not been injured.
On May 2 Surik Khachatryan aka Liska's son Tigran Khachatryan got involved in another bloody showdown. Goris police precinct received a call from Goris medical center on May 2 at around 21:35. "With a right-eye injury - eyelid cut" Harut Zakaryan was hospitalized on the same day. According to the police report, on May 2 at around 16:00 Harut Zakaryan quarreled with Tigran Khachatryan in Goris city center, after they headed towards a territory called "Sdgi Gyol" where other people joined them. The quarrel turned into a fight during which Harut Zakaryan sustained bodily injuries near his eye. Zakaryan has been moved to Yerevan where he was operated on. However, his eyesight has not been recovered. The governor denies his son's involvement in the showdown. Harut Zakaryan's father Gagik Zakaryan has told ArmInfo journalist that Tigran Khachatryan stands guilty. According to some info, Surik Khachatryan and his second son were seen at the crime scene. According to Gagik Zakaryan, his son is currently in Moscow where he will be operated on his eye for the young man received no relevant treatment in Yerevan. The other day the media issued a statement that Tigran Khachatryan had left Armenia. However, he voluntarily went to the Police.
