VTB Bank (Armenia) is financing the construction of a modern multi-function logistics complex in Yerevan - "Urban Logistics Services."
The press service of VTB Bank (Armenia) reports that the area near the complex is quite appropriate for logistics. The complex is located in 15 minutes' run from Yerevan's center. It has a railroad and is just 2- 4 km away from the nearest customs terminal and 8 km away from Zvartnots Airport.
The bank's funds are being used on the purchase of necessary equipment, the reconstruction of the existing property and the construction of a complex that will provide different logistics services.
The potential customers will be SMEs and large companies needing logistic services. The complex will work round the clock and will be accessible through the Internet. It will have a modern warehouse for very different types of goods and cargoes.
"Since logistics is a relatively new type of activity in Armenia, we think it important to finance this project. Flexible financing will help Urban Logistic Services to get a big share on the local logistics market," CEO of VTB Bank (Armenia) Yuri Gusev said.
The sole owner of VTB Bank Armenia is VTB Bank from Russia. The bank has the largest branch network in Armenia's banking system (67 branches all over the country).
