Marat Terterov: Armenia’s long term security will be better served by strengthening economic security, rather than defining national security on the basis of the Tsarist Russian catch-cry “armiya i flot”
The relations of Nikol Pashinyan, parliamentarian, representative of the Armenian National Congress Faction (ANC), and Levon Zurabyan, Head of the same faction, have grown tense recently.
The 168 Zham newspaper writes that those discrepancies are politically motivated. Pashinyan and Zurabyan have absolutely different approaches to cooperation with Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), the paper writes. Thus, Pashinyan is sure that ANC should not perceive PAP as an oppositional force and should not cooperate with it, while Zurabyan does not rule out such cooperation and even support to PAP candidate for president.
