Not a full stop but a comma was put in the relations between Armenia and Europe, press-secretary of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, vice-speaker of the parliament, Edward Sharmazanov, came to such a conclusion after the sitting of the RPA Supreme Body held on 3 October.
He also added that Armenia is ready to initial the political aspect of the Association Agreement with the EU in Vilnius. He emphasized that just the political component is the key of this agreement. Anyway, irrespective of the agreement signing or not, Armenia will go on making democratic reforms, he said.
When commenting on President Serzh Sargsyan's speech at PACE, Sharmazanov especially emphasized the statement by the president, according to which the independence and security of Nagornyy Karabakh cannot become a subject of compromise, and the Armenian party is not going to make unilateral compromises in the Karabakh issue.
