Former commander of the internal police troops of Armenia, MP from the Prosperous Armenian Party Faction in the parliament of Armenia, Grigor Grigoryan (nickname Sherif) has renounced his deputy mandate at the extraordinary meeting of the Armenian Parliament on 12 May.
PAP Faction explains Grigoryan's decision with health problems and upcoming treatment abroad. He will be replaced by Tigran Nersisyan, the son of Hrazdan Bakery.
Meanwhile, Mass Media have repeatedly reported that Grigoryan have tense relations with PAP Leader Gagik Tsarukyan
