Artsakh Defense Army: Five sabotage attacks by Azerbaijan in the period from 28 July to 2 August: 25 casualties and 30 wounded Azerbaijani soldiers

 The Nagorno Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) Defense Army has published the real data on the casualties of the NKR and Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the last days sabotage attacks by Azerbaijan. 

The NKR Defense Army reports 25 casualties and 30 wounded Azerbaijani soldiers in the sabotage attacks by Azerbaijan in the period from 28 July up to 2 August. 

On 28 July the enemy made a sabotage attack in the area of Martakert, NKR, and was thrown back suffering two casualties and having several wounded. The same day, the enemy had one casualty and several wounded in its sabotage attack in the area of Martuni.

On 31 July, Azerbaijan tried to penetrate into the Armenian position in the area of Gulistan and lost another 2 soldiers. On the August 1-2 night, the Armenian Armed Forces prevented another sabotage by the enemy.  9 were killed and 7 were wounded in the fight. Three Azerbaijanis escaped. 

On the same day, a sabotage group of 50 Azerbaijani soldiers attempted an attack in the area of Martakert, losing 6 diversionists amid 7 wounded. The enemy lost another 3 soldiers when breaching the ceasefire in the area of Martuni. Another 4 Azerbaijani soldiers were wounded.  A sabotage attack in the area of Askeran on 2 August resulted in 1 casualty and several wounded on the Azerbaijani party.

"The front line military units of the NKR Defense Army guard the entire Line of Contact with Azerbaijan and take retaliatory actions when necessary, making the enemy retreat suffering big losses," the NKR Defense Army says in the statement.
