Head of Heritage faction: Armenian authorities always aggravate the situation

 The Armenian authorities always aggravate domestic political situation in the country, the head of the Heritage parliamentary faction, Ruben Hakopyan, said at today's open press-conference at Liberty Square. He said that the last events in Sevan town, where local authorities provoked attacking representatives of the Heritage party by criminal elements during a rally, are bright evidence of that.

He is confident that the Police has got video of the given incident and we shall see the true readiness of the authorities to remove tension, if the Police detects and punishes provokers.

Hakopyan does not cherish illusions about the ability and wish of the authorities to make concessions. "The authorities have shut down all the doors against the law, and they confess that. The presidential election were organized not by the structures foreseen by the law, but by the authorities.
