Parliament of Armenia has supported the presidential amnesty bill on Thursday.
ArmInfo's correspondent to the National Assembly reports that the bill was passed by 102 votes unanimously. President Serzh Sargsyan submitted an amnesty bill to the Parliament on 30 September on occasion of the 22nd independence anniversary of Armenia.
The last time amnesty was announced in Armenia in 2011 on occasion of the 20th Independence Anniversary of the country. Then, amnesty applied also the convicts over the March 1 2008 case Sassun Mikaelyan and Nikol Pashinyan, who were declared political prisoners by the opposition.
