Beeline press-office reports to ArmInfo that D-Link multinational networking and telecommunication equipment manufacturing corporation has named Beeline "Armenia's Most Customer-Oriented Company in Innovations."
During the joint press conference, Vice President at D-Link Corporation Thomas Huang, Director at D-Link Armenia Armen Shahnazaryan and Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin presented the details of their long-term cooperation as well as plans for the future modernization of Beeline network.
In particular, the heads of the companies paid special attention to issues related to the introduction of state-of-the-art technologies in the fiber-optic sphere and remote control of consumer equipment.
"For many years Beeline has been introducing state-of-the-art technologies to provide newer and higher-quality services. Highly assessing the company's approach to innovations, business development and future plans, we are happy to hand over this letter of commendation to Beeline, the absolute leader in Armenian telecommunication market," said Thomas Huang.
"It is very pleasant and obliging for us to get such a high score from a networking equipment manufacturer, a corporation the technologies and software of which are used by many telecommunication networks around the world. In order to provide simple, convenient and quality services for our subscribers in the future as well Beeline will continue to cooperate with D-Link to acquire modern networking equipment," said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
The large-scale cooperation between Beeline Armenia and D-Link kicked off in 2008 when the latter started importing networking equipment for the construction of ADSL network based on which Hi-Line service was launched in Armenia. The majority of broadband wired Internet users in Armenia are among the subscribers of this service.
Today D-Link and Beeline cooperate to develop FTTB technology. "Beeline Internet" service is made available for Beeline subscribers based on D-Link's networking and final consumer equipment.
As of now, around 5000 units of D-Link networking equipment is used in Beeline network.
