Vahan Hovanisyan to vote "far" the candidates for president

 "During the forthcoming presidential election I will vote for all the candidates except the candidate from the Republican Party of Armenia, the incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan", - a member of the ARF Dashnaktiutyun, MPVahan Hovannisyan, said at today's press-conference.

"I don't think that it is right not to take part in the election. One must go to the election and vote, such is my personal position. One should go to vote and do everything possible for his ballot be recognized invalid. I advise all my relatives and friends to act in such a way", - he said.

Hovannisyan thinks that there are no electoral processes as such in Armenia, but different extraordinary situations - one is in a hunger strike, another one is attacked. "There are no developing political processes. For this reason, ARF Dashnaktiutyun adopted a decision not to take part in the forthcoming presidential election", - he said.

At the same time, a member of the ARFD assured that his party does not refuse fight though at this stage fighting is senseless, however, the situation may fully change over the next stage.

Hovannisyan added that there is a big layer in the Armenian society which is displeased with development of electoral processes in the country. "There are big clans, which used to feed their families with electoral bribes. Now these people understand that there will be no bribe or at least a little. For this reason these
people rebelled and are trying to frighten the incumbent authorities and touch off panic in the society saying that one should not take part in voting, as everything is clear in advance. But I think that it is better to go and vote for everybody, than to keep close at home and allow somebody to doom your future", - Hovannisyan said.
