In March 2015, Beeline launched operations aimed at landline network digitization and partial reconnection of current subscriber lines in Ijevan in Tavush region.
The press office of the company reports that once digitization operations are completed (expected by April 19), the residents of Ijevan will enjoy a new quality of the digital landline network. As a result of the digitization of infrastructures, equipment will be replaced and rearmed, and the subscriber lines will be reconnected to the new digital station.
"The modernization of the network and the introduction of high technological equipment are the main superiority of our company's strategy. Just like last year, this year as well Beeline continues works aimed at the digitization of infrastructures ensuring simple, convenient and high-quality network services for our subscribers in Armenian regions," said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
In 2014, Beeline digitized the phone network of 14 settlements in Armenia, and mounted over 3,500 subscriber lines and over 1,000 new ports of broadband Internet. A significant decline in landline network tariffs is also one of the company's achievements.
