The resignation of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has turned out to be a surprise for Armenia's Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan, while Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov says that the ruling Republican Party had discussed the resignation for almost a month.
In an interview to Armnews Tovmasyan said that Tigran Sargsyan was a reformer and it was pleasure for him to be part of his team.
Tigran Sargsyan resigned during the Thursday meeting of the Supreme Body of the Republican Party of Armenia. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has accepted the resignation.
