Within the frames of his working visit to Belarus, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended the session of the Council of the Heads of the CIS Member States on Friday.
The press service of the Armenian President reports that the session covered 14 issues related to the prospects of expansion of trade and economic relations, cooperation in law-enforcement field, as well as further development of cultural and humanitarian ties.
The participants approved programs on cooperation in the fight against terrorism and extremism, illicit drug trafficking, as well as a program to combat drug addiction.
A decision was taken to hold the next session of the Council of the Heads of the CIS Member States in Kyiv under Ukraine's Chairmanship.
