Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Refugees and IDPs, Ali Hasanov again met with Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation to Azerbaijan Denise Duran on July 30, APA reports.
The source says that they held discussions regarding the detention of Azeris Shahbaz Guliyev and Dilgam Asgarov, and the return of Hasanov's body of Hasan Hasanov.
Hasanov seriously warned the Head of the ICRC Delegation to Azerbaijan and said that the work on the return of Hasan Hasanov's body and the release of the other detainees should be conducted more actively.
He also noted that all this causes the distrust of civil society to international organizations. APA quotes him as saying, "If Armenia is currently demonstrating such a position on releasing the hostages and returning the body, how can we talk about the desire to coexist in the future based on mutual confidence."
It was also stressed that all of these issues have been under the control of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev since the very first day and the Azerbaijani government is constantly dealing with these issues.
On July 28, the Kremlin received the letter addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin by the family members of Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev. The members of the detainees' families asked Putin to assist the release of Asgarov and Guliyev.
