In 2012 Grand Candy increased its exports by 2.5 times to $2.1mln, President of Grand Holding (the owner of Grand Candy) Hrant Vardanyan told journalists on Thursday.
In 2008-2012 the holding spent $4.9mln on equipment for Grand Candy. In 2012 the company paid 3.1bln AMD in taxes (26th biggest tax-payer in Armenia).
Vardanyan said that Grand Holding is going to cultivate wheat in Tavush region and Nagorno-Karabakh. In 2008-2012 it bought for Grand Candy mill machinery worth $880,000.
According to ArmInfo's Financial Analysis of Biggest Manufacturing Companies of Armenia, in 2011 Grand Candy's assets totaled 15.2bln AMD or $37.4mln, revenues 13.3bln AMD, net profit 1.3bln AMD.
