Spain's parliament is expected to adopt a resolution on "the Azerbaijani territories occupied by the Armenians and Khojaly tragedy," Jose Maria Chiquillo, head of the Spanish parliamentary delegation, the deputy of the Spanish People's Party for Valencia province, member of the Foreign Affairs Commission said at the press conference in Baku, APA reported.
He said that at the meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov they received documents on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Khojaly adopted by international organizations and several countries so far and they will be familiarized with them: "After returning to our country, we will start working on the adoption of similar documents on the Azerbaijani territories occupied by the Armenians and Khojaly tragedy. I am confident that the Kingdom of Spain will provide necessary support for the adoption of these documents and we will be able to adopt them for the recognition of Azerbaijan's just position."
Spanish MP noted that they are ready for all kind of cooperation with Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh issue and other fields: "Four UN Resolutions in this regard haven't been honored for 20 years. Spanish government will do its best to achieve the honoring of these resolutions."
