Marat Terterov: Armenia’s long term security will be better served by strengthening economic security, rather than defining national security on the basis of the Tsarist Russian catch-cry “armiya i flot”
There are no premises for a revolution in Armenia, particularly, for 'an apricot' revolution. Secretary of the Republican Party Faction Hovhanness Sahakyan told media, Thursday.
He said that the authorities did their best to conduct free and fairs election meeting international standards, so the oppositionist should have no reasons for indignation and discontent.
Sahakyan calls reports on election fraud by mass media and opposition candidates a western political technology.
"We need cleaner elections that would give no reason for any doubts by the public or international structures. It is logical that we would not bribe or terrorize voters," he said. In addition, he said that despite all its possibilities RPA would not be able to make Raffi Hovannisian's 36.75% into 80%. There were polling stations where results surprised RPA, but it does not mean that the oppositionists rigged election," Sahakyan said.
