Nalbandian: Racism and racial discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance grossly violate human dignity and give rise to tensions within and between societies. That is why the fight against them became one of the main priorities of our chairmanship.

Unprecedented escalation on the line of contact of the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops since the beginning of the year has increased aggressive rhetoric and intolerance of the conflicting parties, says the International Crisis Group (ICG) in its latest report.
ICG recalls that the details of clashes on the borderline still remain unclear, though the issue was discussed at the meeting of the Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers and the OSCE Mink Groiup co-chairs in Paris on 24 January. Then the mediators expressed concern over growing tension and urged the parties to stop armed clashes.
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan has intensified ceasefire breaches since the beginning of the year. As a result, both the parties suffer human losses.
