The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) will provide Armenian graduates, post-graduates and scientists with over 90 scholarships for 2014-2015. The official award ceremony will take place in Yerevan on May 27. Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan will attend the ceremony.
Over the period of Armenia's independence, more than 2200 Armenians have received financial aid from DAAD. Higher education establishments of Germany offer over 1200 courses of international Bachelor's Programme, Master's Programme and Post-graduate Training Programme. The graduates of German universities are considered competitive throughout the world and have big chances to get good offers in the international labor market.
