Within the frames of cooperation of Beeline and All-National Trust Board, "Komitas: Crane of Melancholy" will be screened, the press office of Beeline Armenia reports.
The screening of the film is held on the margins of the Armenian Genocide Centennial events under "Remember and Claim" slogan. In the film, Komitas is portrayed in the way he was in reality. His image was based on the archive letters, memoirs, monologues, lucid and dark moments of his mind. After the film screening, the exhibition of Grigor Ter-Avagyan's paintings, "Armenia through the Eyes of a Soul", will be held. The exhibition is aimed at showing the Armenian spirit, culture, speech and handwriting to the world.
"As a leading telecommunication operator, Beeline gives high priority to supporting events dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial. Culture is the powerful tool through which historical events can be made available to the larger public. I am sure such cultural events will contribute to enhancing the youth and foreigners' awareness of the Armenian Genocide and its international recognition", said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
The first screening of "Komitas: Crane of Melancholy" film-performance will be held at the National Academic Theater after G. Sundukyan on March 30, at 7 pm. The film will also be screened in Georgia, Russia and Lebanon.
