The electric power supply was stopped because of the system failure, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
"According to the preliminary data, failure was fixed in the system and now the relevant measures are being taken to resume the electric power supply. At the moment electricity supply has been resumed in a number of districts of Yerevan and in several regions of Armenia", the source says.
Around 10:25 am, Nov 2, electricity supply was stopped in Yerevan and some regions of Armenia. The Yerevan Underground experienced malfunction due to the blackouts. As of 12:07 pm the activity of the Yerevan Underground was resumed.
