Armenia welcomes readiness of the EU to do actions on enhancing trust and reaching progress in the negotiating process on settlement of Nagornyy Karabakh conflict, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said at today's joint press-conference with President of European Council Herman Van Rompuy in Yerevan.
He said that Armenia is not looking for another ways of Karabakh conflict settlement but the peaceful one, and is ready to resolve it within the frames of the OSCE Minsk Group on the basis of UN Charter and principles of Helsinki Final Act.
He also added there is certain progress in several directions of the Armenia-EU relations. The talks on Association Agreement and the agreement for creation of the free trade zone as well as for simplification of the visa regime.
"Armenia is going to fulfill a wide specter of reforms on enhancing democracy, priority of law, on improvement of social and economic situaion in the country and on increasing the effectiveness of the management system. We think that just the EU is the most reliable partner in all this process", - Serzh Sargsyan said.
