Police board that met today in the afternoon under chairmanship of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan may result in dismissal of Nerses Nazaran from the post of the Yerevan Police Chief, Haykakan Zhamanak Daily writes referring to a source in the Police. Earlier on Thursday evening the paper's source in the Police assessed probability of Nazaryan's dismissal 50/50. Even if Nazaryan is not dismissed, he will be harshly criticized at the meeting. So far, there are no reports on such attitude towards Nazaryan. Another newspaper Chorrord Inqnishkhanutyun writes that relations between Nazaryan and Armenian Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan are rather strained. Nazaryan may even leave the police system for a while, the paper reports.
