Marat Terterov: Armenia’s long term security will be better served by strengthening economic security, rather than defining national security on the basis of the Tsarist Russian catch-cry “armiya i flot”
The first ever 3D Street Art image has appeared in Yerevan.
It has been drawn by the world-renowned German 3D painter Nikolaj Arndt on the pavement of Charles Aznavour Square near Moskva Cinema House and pictures a precipice full of water, a bridge on its brink, a crocodile jumping out of the water and a boat on the shore.
This is the wish of almost 800 young Yerevan residents who have left it on the Wish Walls (intersection of Northern Avenue and Abovyan Str., Cascade, Aznavour Square in front of the Moscow Cinema, intersection of Komitas Ave. and Kasyan Str., Garegin Nzhdeh Sq.) opened in the framework of a joint project by Yerevan Municipality and Ameriabank.
"This is the first present under our project. The other wishes were to see our city green, illuminated, having conditions for disabled people. So, we are planning additional projects to improve the city," Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan said.
Chairman of the Management Board-General Director of Ameriabank Artak Hanesyan said that for the moment the bank and Yerevan Municipality are considering the other wishes and will soon appear with new projects so as to make them true.
