Bank was founded in 1995 in the frames of Europian “TACIS” program. The model of French Credit Agricole Bank was chosen as a banking model for the bank.  The consulting and technical support of the Credit Agricole Bank turned into partnership, which lead to the establishment of "ACBA LEASING" CJSC, the first lease company in Armenia.  In 2006 the French Credit Agricole Group became the principal shareholder of ACBA bank. The assets, credit investment, equity and the volume of bank deposits as of April 1st  of 2014 are respectively 364.6 billion AMD(640 million USD),  178 billion AMD(430.6 million USD),  53 billion AMD(128.2 million USD) and 109.6 billion AMD(265.1 million USD).  The fact that the amount of clients of the Bank has  multiplied 25 times from its establishment date now reaching 276 000  is the best evidence of trust to the Bank. In the last 10 years the number of the Bank’s branches increased 5 times and became 49. The number of employees has reached 1060, whereas in the 1995 there where just 12 people working for the Bank.
