Bank was founded in 1995 in the frames of Europian “TACIS” program. The model of French Credit Agricole Bank was chosen as a banking model for the bank. The consulting and technical support of the Credit Agricole Bank turned into partnership, which lead to the establishment of "ACBA LEASING" CJSC, the first lease company in Armenia. In 2006 the French Credit Agricole Group became the principal shareholder of ACBA bank. The assets, credit investment, equity and the volume of bank deposits as of April 1st of 2014 are respectively 364.6 billion AMD(640 million USD), 178 billion AMD(430.6 million USD), 53 billion AMD(128.2 million USD) and 109.6 billion AMD(265.1 million USD). The fact that the amount of clients of the Bank has multiplied 25 times from its establishment date now reaching 276 000 is the best evidence of trust to the Bank.
