In Jan-June 2014 Armenian Copper Programme (ACP) cut blister copper production by 13.5% to 5,015 tons.
According to the ACP's spokesman Vahram Avagyan, in Jan-June 2014 the company processed 25,767 tons of copper concentrate against 22,916 tons a year before.
The drop in the output was due to a decline in supplies.
The ACP's key suppliers are Base Metals in Nagorno-Karabakh and Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine in the south of Armenia. The company's production is exported to Europe. In 2012 the ACP increased its blister copper production by 13.5% to 10,075 tons. 100% of the company is owned by Valery Mejlumyan, Russian citizen of Armenian origin.
