Armenia's Nature Protection Minister, Aramais Grigoryan, accompanied by the governor of Syunik region, Vahe Hakopyan, and other officials visited today the tailing dumps of Zangezur copper and molybdenum plant, "Dundee Precious Metals Kapan" and Agarak copper and molybdenum plant.
As press-service of the Ministry reported, Grigoryan got acquainted with the situation and the available problems. They told the minister about the necessity of setting a fence at several sectors of Artsvanik tailing dump, and presented the problems of the tailing dump "Dundee Precious Metals Kapan", which the minister charged to resolve as soon as possible.
The minister also made a check on small power plants of Syunik region and charged to observe rigidly nature protection norms and environmental flow.
