Belarusian meat-packing plant is planning to establish a joint venture in Azerbaijan

Baku.  Slutsk Meat is planning to establish a joint venture in Azerbaijan, according to the Belarusian portal infobaza.by.

The General Director Viktor Tomashevsky said that they are working on the creation of an enterprise with the company established by the International Bank of Azerbaijan, in Shepsi. Financing of the project will be provided by the Azerbaijani bank, and the contribution of the Belarusian company will be intellectual, said the CEO. The meat-packing plant is ready to provide highly qualified professionals, as well as facilitate the training of representatives of Azerbaijan in Belarus.

                The Belarusian company has conducted a meat market research in Azerbaijan and plans to deliver sausage of beef and horse meat to this country. It is not excluded that pork sausages will be also delivered, as the food is also in demand in Azerbaijan.

The meat packing plant is ready to deliver both the raw material and the production technology to Azerbaijan.

Slutsk Meat is among the ten leading Belarusian enterprises for processing of meat. Every month they process more than 3,300 tons of livestock and produce over 300 tons of semi-finished products and one thousand tons of meat products. They produce about 300 kinds of products, among which there is meat, sausages, dumplings, and canned meat. The company employs 1.5 thousand people. The average salary is 3 million rubles. 84.9% of the shares are owned by the Minsk region, 1.7% - by the Slutsk district, 0.1% - by Belarus, 1.9% - by agricultural enterprises, and 11.4% - by individuals.
