The former MP, entrepreneur Haroutuyun Pambukyan and his partners are not going to acquire Armavia, the national air carrier of Armenia, Khachik Manoukyan, Head of Max Concern, one of Pambukyan's partners, ex-member of Armenian Parliament, told ArmInfo's correspondent, when commenting on the information in the Armenian and foreign mass media.
"This is absolute misinformation. Neither Pambukyan nor I have any plans to acquire Armavia", Manoukyan said. According to the sources close to the ex-MP, Pambukyan currently owns no business in Armenia and lives abroad. Only the JOSE restaurant in Yerevan belongs to him.
To note, some Armenian and foreign news agencies have disseminated information that Haroutyun Pambukyan and his Russian partners are going to acquire Armavia, the national air carrier of Armenia. The specific value of the transaction has also been mentioned - 55 mln USD.
At present, the air fleet of Armavia consists of three A319 aircrafts, three A320, three CRJ-200LR, one Yak-42 and one Sukhoi Superjet 100.
