The Armenian Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly attended the plenary session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Croatia on October 11-14.
Koryun Nahapetyan, Head of the Armenian Delegation, MP from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, said at today's press conference that the session covered a wide spectrum of international issues, including the Syrian crisis, the situation in Afghanistan, etc. NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen made a speech at the session.
"During the debates on security problems and cooperation between NATO and the partner states, we called on Rasmussen to pay attention to the xenophobia and racism policy conducted in Azerbaijan, one of partner states of NATO. We stressed that the propaganda of hatred and the anti-Armenian hysteria do not contribute to stability and security in the region", he said.
